P-STEB reports fewer road crashes and fatalities during recently concluded Heroes Holiday Weekend, when compared to previous years

The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (P-STEB) is reporting that fewer road crashes and fatalities were recorded during the recently concluded Heroes Holiday Weekend, when compared to previous years.

In providing an update, Head of P-STEB, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Gary McKenzie told IRIE FM News, that two road fatalities were recorded at the weekend.

The crashes occurred in Westmoreland and St. Mary.

Citing the severe traffic gridlock, especially in Ocho Rios, St. Ann, during the Easter Holiday in April, A-C-P McKenzie said the police have learned from their mistakes.
