Opposition says communication with Gov’t as it relates to post Hurricane Melissa recovery is dwindling
Opposition Leader Mark Golding says communication with the Andrew Holness led administration as it relates to post Hurricane Melissa recovery is dwindling.
Speaking at a PNP press briefing this morning Mr Golding noted that Jamaica is facing a difficult time.
He said while the opposition may disagree with the Government at times, it is not because the PNP is petty, but because it is trying to prevent an outcome which will affect the country negatively.
According to Mr. Golding, recent efforts to reach the prime minister for discussions on a way forward following the category 5 storm have proven futile.
Mr. Golding called for all elected representatives to be included in relief affairs.
