NWC says water supply to customers will remain consistent during and after Melissa
The National Water Commission (NWC) has assured that steps have been taken to ensure customers get water supply during and after the passage of tropical storm Melissa.
Speaking yesterday at the special press briefing, NWC Acting President Kevin Kerr said the commission has activated its Hurricane Preparedness and Response Plan.
Mr. Kerr said the commission moved into a heightened state of readiness with the development of tropical storm Melissa.
This includes ensuring that there is adequate water stored to support post-storm recovery.
