Member of Parliament for North-west Manchester Mikael Phillips says farmers are facing serious challenges with finding labour for their farms. 

Speaking at a New Face of Food Stakeholder Engagement session yesterday, Mr. Phillips said the problem is adversely impacting planting and reaping processes.

He noted that the issue could also negatively impact the country’s GDP.

Mr. Phillips added that stakeholders must work together to address the issues, so the farming sector can be improved.
