New Adidas Reggae Boy kit officially unveiled
The brand new Adidas Reggae Boy kit was officially unveiled last night by the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) at a reception put on by the local governing body of football at Devon House in Kingston.
The kit which features black, gold, green and red comes a little over a week before the reggae boys tackle New Caledonia in their Confederation semi-final match in Mexico, in the push to qualify for this summer’s World Cup in Canada, Mexico and USA.
President of the Jamaica Football Federation Michael Ricketts says in the end he is glad that the JFF now stands to benefit from a fruitful deal, following a long negotiation with the apparel and sports good manufacturers.
Asked about what the deal represents in dollar figure, Ricketts said, ” I am not at liberty to divulge the figures, or the monetary details of the agreement, except that we have signed a new contract that will be a total of eight years starting in January 2027″ .
The Reggae boys will be decked out in the Adidas apparel when they tackle New Caledonia in the FIFA Inter-Confederation playoffs next week in Mexico .
