A multi-agency investigation is to be conducted to determine the origin of a burnt-out aircraft which was found at the Elim/Braes border in Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth, last evening.

Head of the Et. Elizabeth Police, Deputy Superintendent Coleridge Minto says at about 7 p-m, teams from the police force, Jamaica Fire Brigade and the Jamaica Defence Force responded to reports from residents.

Noting that there is no report of injury or death associated with the incident, the commanding officer says the investigation remains active.

DSP Minto says while there are several theories about the incident, further information will be provided once investigators reach a conclusion.
