Mount Pleasant back as number one ranked Jamaica team in Concacaf
Jamaica Premier League champions Mount Pleasant is back as the number one ranked Jamaica team in Concacaf and the number three ranked team in the Caribbean.
This according to the latest release of the Concacaf club rankings released today which shows the St Ann team as the only Jamaica team in the top 100 of the Concacaf rankings.
Mount Pleasant has moved up two places to 100 leapfrog Concacaf Caribbean club finalists Cavalier who slipped one place down to be ranked at 102.
The other Jamaican teams in the Caribbean top ten are Waterhouse up one place to 109 in Concacaf and Arnett gardens who holds firm at 112.
Concacaf Caribbean Cup semi-finalist Harbour View slipped one place to 129 in Concacaf.
Haitian team Violette FC is still the number one ranked Caribbean team ranked 68 in Concacaf and Cibao FC of the Dominican Republic is second in the Caribbean at 93 in Concacaf.
Five Mexican clubs headed by Club America lead the Concacaf club rankings.
