Two men died as a result of injuries they sustained in a motorcycle crash along main street in Santa Cruz on Monday morning.

Their identities have not yet been released.

Preliminary reports from the police are that about 1:45 a-m, the men were travelling on a motorcycle when the driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a concrete column.

Both men were reportedly flung from the motorcycle upon impact.

The police were alerted and they were taken to hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
