A minor earthquake was reported felt in sections of the country Sunday afternoon.

The Earthquake Unit said it occurred about 2:06 pm

The epicentre was located approximately 10 km south of Hope Bay, Portland.

It had a magnitude of 3.8 and a focal depth of 10 km .

It was reportedly felt in Kingston and St Andrew.
