The extension of the May Pen to Williamsfield leg of the highway is about 93 % complete.

 

Works Minister Everald Warmington gave the update during his sectoral debate presentation in parliament today.

 

The project should be finished by August.

He said the new road will cut commute time to 15 minutes.
