Mayor of Mandeville Donovon Mitchell says he will be taking steps to facilitate the burial of a senior citizen who was killed following the passage of Hurricane Beryl.

80-year-old Stanley Castle lost his life after a wall on his property, in Backup District in Resource reportedly fell on him.

Speaking with IRIE FM news, Mayor Mitchell said the senior citizen was registered in the Outdoor Poor Relief Programme, which offers help to destitute persons.
