A man was shot and killed by unknown assailants at Springs Plaza in Half Way Tree, Kingston, yesterday.

He is yet to be identified.

Reports are that shortly after 1 p.m., the man was approached by other men on a black motor cycle.

The bikers pulled guns and opened fire, hitting the man, then fled the area.

The wounded man was taken to hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Investigations continue.
