Man marked for death saved by Police at primary school in Spanish Town

A man who police describe as being marked for death was saved, after cops thwarted the attempt by criminals, to carry out the attack, at a primary school in Spanish Town St Catherine on Thursday.

The 3 would be killers, who are alleged to be members of the clansman gang, have been taken into custody.

Deputy Commissioner of police, in charge of the Crime and Security Portfolio, Fitz Bailey, said cops also seized 2 guns and several rounds of ammunition, during the incident.

DCP Bailey said the alleged criminals were not concerned about the psychological impact on the students that their actions would have created.

He assured that the JCF remains steadfast in its duty to keep citizens safe.

He warned criminals that the police will use their training to respond to any threat.
