Local Government Minister Desmond Mckenzie has pointed out that garbage collection in some areas is being hampered by long wait times at disposal sites.

This in the wake of complaints from residents about delays in collection.

Mr. Mckenzie explained that the garbage trucks are only able to make one trip per day.

He assured that sanitation workers are trying to meet garbage collection targets.
