A young woman is suspected to have committed suicide at her home in St. Mary yesterday.

She is 19-year-old Tameka Atherton of Sports Road, Islington, in the parish. 

Reports from the Port Maria police are that about 1:17 p.m., the body of Ms. Atherton was discovered at her home hanging from the roof with a cord tied around her neck.
