KSAMC to clamp down on businesses that don’t have contracts for proper disposal of their garbage
The Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC) will be clamping down on businesses that do not have contracts in place for the proper disposal of their garbage.
This according to Mayor of Kingston Andrew Swaby who was speaking at a community meeting at the George Headley Primary School on Saturday.
Mayor Swaby said some businesses, especially in Downtown Kingston, have a habit of disposing of their garbage on the streets.
He said the corporation will be carrying out an enforcement drive to make sure that these entities have contracts for their waste to be picked up.
