Mayor of Kingston, Andrew Swaby is calling on citizens to desist from dumping garbage along the main road on Mountain View Avenue.

Mayor Swaby, who is Councillor for the Vineyard Town Division, made the appeal during his visit to the area for a Pre Labour Day project in Nannyville and Macgregor Gully.

He noted that the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation is working to clean up the city, but citizens need to play their part. 

Mr. Swaby stated that the clean up project in Nannyville is in keeping with his manifesto as Mayor.

He urged residents of that community to set an example for others to follow.
