Khadijah ‘bunny’ Shaw to lead 26 member Reggae Girls squad Vs Paraguay

A star studded reggae squad led by captain and Manchester City striker Khadijah ‘bunny’ Shaw has been selected by the Jamaica Football Federation, to tackle Paraguay in a two game friendly international match up next month. 

Shaw, will be joined the wily forwards Jody Brown and Trudi Carter, along with seasoned campaigners Deneisha Blackwood, Konya Plummer, Chinyelu Asher, sisters Allyson and Chantelle Swaby,  and Drew spence, along with goal-keepers Sydney Schneider and with Tottenham Hotspur’s, Rebbeca Spencer.  

The 26 member squad also includes: Satara Murray, tiernny wiltshire, atlanta Primus, Havana Solaun, Siobhan Wilson, Soe Mathews, Shania Hayles, Kayla Mccoy, Tiffany Cameron and Vyan Sampson. 

 

The squad is completed by Paige Bailey-Gayle, Rachel Jones, Cheyna Matthews, Shaneil Buckley and liya Brooks.

The games on November 10 at the Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay and November 13 at the national Stadium, forms part of the Reggae Girls preparations for the Fifa Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand next summer.

Meanwhile, the South American outfit Paraguay will use these encounters to sharpen up for the FIFA intercontinental playoffs in New Zealand come February 2023.
