Kadijah ‘Bunny’ Shaw named to Women’s Super League PFA team of the year in England

Reggae girl Kadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw was named on the Women’s Super League PFA team of the year in England.

This follows her outstanding 2022/23 season in which she scored 31 goals in 30 games in all competitions for Manchester City and was named the club’s player of the season.

Her standout performances also saw her win the Barclays Women’s Super League Player of the month award for October, as well as the PFA fans’ player of the month for January.

Shaw was also instrumental in the reggae Girlz’ qualification for a second successive World Cup, helping guide Jamaica to a third-placed finish at the Concacaf Women’s Championship.

Meantime Aston Villa striker Rachel Daly has won the PFA Women’s players’ player of the year award, while Chelsea star Lauren James was named young player of the year

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland won the PFA men’s player of the year award, while Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka was named young player of the year.
