Jamaica Labour Party Leader, Prime Minister Andrew Holness says Junction in St. Elizabeth will be transformed into a first-class town.

He also pledges that there will be investments in modern facilities.

Speaking during a spot meeting in the town on Wednesday, Mr. Holness said the SPARK programme will also focus on public transportation facilities.

Meanwhile, Mr. Holness said consultations and surveys are being conducted in relation to the Pedro Plains irrigation project.

This project, he said will benefit farm communities in southern St. Elizabeth.
