The Jamaica Public Service (JPS) is reporting that over 55 per cent of its customers now have power.

Speaking at a press briefing this morning, President and Chief Executive Officer of JPS Hugh Grant said the company has been prioritizing restoration in key areas such as public institutions.

He noted that a main river in western Jamaica has dried up and is hindering the restoration process.

Mr. Grant assured that despite this efforts continue.
