JOA gives Reggae Girls 25 Million dollars boost

Jamaica’s reggae girls’ have received a timely boost ahead of their upcoming Olympic qualifiers against Canada.
This with the Jamaica Olympic Association stepping forward with a commitment of 25 million dollars in a partnership through the Jamaica football Federation and Bob Marley Foundation
The announcement was made this morning at the offices of the Jamaica Olympic association and JFF’s General Secretary Dennis Chung while expressing his gratitude says the cash injection will go a far way in alleviating the financial pressure in playing both games against Canada.
The first leg of the Olympic playoffs will take place on Friday at the National Stadium….kick-off time 7 ‘o’ clock….with the return leg in Toronto on September 26.
The winner on aggregate will join regional champions United States as the two teams who will represent Concacaf in the women’s football tournament at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The winner will also automatically qualify for the inaugural Concacaf women’s gold cup tournament which will take place in the USA between February 17 and march 10, next year
