Scores of Jamaica Labour Party, JLP members including councillors have been summoned to a meeting in Montego Bay, St. James tomorrow.

The scheduled meeting comes amid speculations that the governing JLP will announce a date for the local government election which is due in February.

In a statement today, the JLP  said all constituency chairpersons, members of parliaments, councillors, councillor candidates and party officers are to be at the meeting

It will be held at the Montego Bay Convention Centre at 1 pm.
