Commissioner of Police, Dr. Kevin Blake, says the constabulary will be ramping up its engagement with citizens and other stakeholders in the coming weeks.

Dr. Blake made the commitment on Sunday afternoon while speaking at a town hall meeting put on by the St. Catherine South Police Division.

He noted that initiatives such as the quarterly town hall meeting held by that division, are important if the force is to be successful.

Commissioner Blake thanked the citizens for their continued interest in policing at the local level and their own security, while noting that their participation in the policing system is crucial.
