“Jamaica’s national anthem should be played regularly at CAC Games”- Christopher Samuda

Jamaica’s national anthem should be played regularly at the upcoming CAC Games in El Salvador and the Dominican Republic. 

That’s the charge from president of the Jamaica Olympic Association Christopher Samuda, to the Jamaican delegation who will represent the nation at the multi -events games set to run from June 23 to July 8. 

The netball and chess teams will make their debut appearances at the games with jamaica to compete in 21 sporting disciplines including Weightlifting, Basketball, Archery, Athletics, Diving, Swimming, Boxing, wWestling, Judo, Hockey and Tennis. 

At the last games in Jamaica’s athletes participated in 18 sporting disciplines where the athletes brought home 27 medals, including 12 gold medals.
