Jamaican cyclist Llori Sharpe has signed a one -year contract with UCI Continental Cycling team……legion of Los Angels. 

With the change of teams, Sharpe who previously competed for European club canyon-Scram generation….will switch gears from longer more endurance-based events to shorter and faster-paced criterium racing.

The 23 year old is currently under-going training in preparation for the transition.

The legion cycling team…..which was founded in 2019 with the goal of increasing diversity and representation in cycling….includes both a men’s and women’s squad with riders from north and Latin America. 

The 2024 calendar of events commence in march through to December.
