He noted that the sector is on track to recording its 11th quarter of growth.

Mr Bartlett explained that the sector is on track to surpass projections of 4 million visitors and foreign exchange earnings of US $4.26 billion by year end.

That’s an increase of 17 per cent over 2022.

The tourism minister noted that the country remains on track to achieve the revised earning and visitor arrival targets.

Meantime, the minister stressed that tourism continues to contribute significantly to the Jamaican economy.

He said some JMD$52 billion in direct earnings have been generated this year.
