Jamaica expected to surpass 1 million stop over arrivals for this season, tomorrow
Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett says Jamaica is expected to surpass one million stop-over arrivals for this season, come tomorrow (June 15).
This, as the country continues to rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking this morning at the launch of the Jamaica 60 Diaspora Conference, Mr. Bartlett noted that Jamaica continues to build back from ground zero.
Mr. Bartlett noted that the Diaspora has a role to play in bolstering the tourism sector further.
He noted that it was Jamaicans who kick-started the industry after the pandemic lockdowns.
