President of the Jamaica Volleyball Association Jacqueline Cowan has been appointed to the sports Commission  the regional Governing Body of Volleyball the North Central America and the Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA). 

Cowan is joined by five other Jamaican officials, with national coach Oneil Ebanks  to serve on the Development Commission, veteran Audley Weir will work with the Beach Volleyball as well as the Technical and Statistics Commission. 

Dr Gillian Lawerence is now a member of the Medical Commission, and former national player Cheryl Daley will serve on the Athletes Commission.
