INDECOM reports 20 fatal shootings by members of the security forces, since January
There have been 20 fatal shootings by members of the security forces since the start of the year.
12 of these incidents took place this month.
The latest incident occurred in Negril Westmoreland, yesterday, where two security guards were shot, 1 fatally, by the police.
The deceased is 25-year-old Dellon Harding.
The other man has been hospitalised.
Noting that the incident is being investigated, Assistant Commissioner of the Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM Hamish Campbell said fatal shootings continue to be a cause for concern.
