The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM is probing the fatal shooting of a 19 year old man, allegedly by his mother, who is a police woman in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, last evening.

Dead is Tyrone Erskine.

Reports are that at about 7p-m, Erskine attacked his mother with a knife and she opened gunfire hitting him.

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
