Prime Minister Andrew Holness has warned that the homes provided through the New Social Housing Programme must be used for residential purposes only.

Speaking at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in St. Catherine on Wednesday, Mr. Holness noted that some beneficiaries of the programme have reportedly been using the properties to earn money.

He said while the homes are fully subsidized, there are some requirements that must be adhered to by the beneficiaries.
