Home-going service held for social media personality Aneka “Slickianna” Townsend
Relatives and friends of Aneka “Slickianna” Townsend, were inconsolable as they gathered today (December 1) at the Webster Memorial Church in St. Andrew, for the social media influencer’s home going service.
The 35-year-old was found dead in the sea, in Reading St. James in October.
Hundreds of mourners, many dressed in colour coordinated red and white, turned up at the church to pay their last respects, and offer support to the grieving family.
During the service, Townsend’s mother, wept as she stood by the casket.
Another relative lamented that Townsend was taken away by someone she trusted, leaving behind her son, who will now be cared for by the family.
Two persons, Rushawn Patterson and security guard Rohan Rose have been arrested and charged in relation to Townsend’s death.
