Prime Minister Andrew Holness has urged business operators in the micro small and medium-sized enterprise (MSME) sector, to continue to invest in, and grow their businesses despite challenges.

Speaking yesterday, at the official opening ceremony for the Adam and Eve Day Spa, Mr. Holness noted that many businesses faced difficulties, especially during the COVID pandemic.

He commended some operators who exemplify resilience. 

Mr. Holness pointed out that MSMEs generate over $400 million, annually.

He noted that MSMEs continue to take risks in the economy.

Mr. Holness acknowledged that finding workers is among the many challenges MSMEs face and assured that the government is working to address this problem.
