Prime Minister Andrew Holness has described Monday’s triple murder which claimed the lives of two children as ‘the worst of the worst’.

He made the statement on Wednesday morning, as he declared a state of Public Emergency for St James.

According to Mr Holness, gunmen are not reasonable people and have no concern for the safety of any citizen.

He said the SOE in St James was warranted.

The prime minister said Monday’s killing was no ordinary crime.
