The Government says it will provide an update soon on a desalination project which is to help address water challenges.

Desalination is removing salt from water.

Water Minister Matthew Samuda who was answering questions on the progress being made by the country to get the project underway, noted that the initiative is tied to the country’s water future.

He said the Government has invested heavily in fixing the water challenges being experienced.
