Flash Flood Watch and Warning discontinued
The Met Service has discontinued the Flash Flood Watch and Warning, which had been in place for several parishes, due to the passage of Rafael.
The storm continues to move North Westward and away from Jamaica and the associated area of showers and thunderstorms continues to decrease.
Reports indicate that moderate to heavy showers affected southern and northwestern parishes early this morning, and that light showers continued throughout the day.
The forecast is for mostly cloudy skies with isolated showers and possible thunderstorms to continue across sections of most parishes this week.
Fishers and marine interests, operating along the south coast, should continue to exercise caution, as strong gusty winds are expected to prevail into tonight.
