Farmer charged with buggery of 4-year old relative
The St Elizabeth police have charged a farmer with buggery following an incident last month.
The 26 year old farmer was charged with buggery against a 4-year-old relative.
In reaction to the incident which occurred on Saturday, July 22, police say they have ensured that appropriate measures are in place.
Acting head of the St Elizabeth Police Superintendent Coleridge Minto said the well-being of the affected child remains a top priority, as counselling has been arranged to provide support and assistance during this difficult time.
The community safety and security officers have also extended their services to offer additional support to the affected community.
The man is scheduled to make a court appearance at the Santa Cruz parish court on Wednesday.
