Family of six appealing for help after fire destroys home in Baillieston, Clarendon

A family of six is appealing for help after a fire destroyed their home in Baillieston, Clarendon on Sunday (September 24).

Reports are that at about 3 P.M., the occupants who were away from the house were alerted to smoke coming from the dwelling.

The police and fire department were alerted.

The occupants who are now homeless said despite their best efforts, their belongings were destroyed in the blaze.

Jodean Fearon the mother of two infants is requesting some assistance for her family.

The fire was extinguished by a unit from the Christiana Fire Station.

The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
