The vehicle transporting electoral office workers and some ballot boxes cast during today’s local government election in Catadupa St. James was involved in a motor vehicle crash this evening.

Head of the JCF Corporate Communications Unit SSP StephanieLlindsay said the injured workers have been taken to hospital.

The ballot boxes were secured.

SSP Lindsay said the police team that had been accompanying the EOJ car, has escorted another vehicle to the counting centre.
