Electors who have not yet collected identification cards encouraged to do so, ahead of Local Government Elections
Electors who have not yet collected their identification cards are being encouraged to do so, ahead of the Local Government Elections.
The long-awaited polls are set for February 26, while Nomination Day is next Thursday, February 8.
Director of Elections, Glasspole Brown told IRIE FM news that though electors without identification cards would not be denied the right to vote in the election, the process would be more tedious for them.
He urged persons to collect their cards at the various constituency offices across the island to ensure a faster voting experience.
