The Education Ministry is warning the public and teachers in particular, to be wary of persons advising them that they are eligible under the Own Your Own Device incentive programme.

In a statement today, the ministry said it is aware of letters being sent to teachers advising them that they have been approved for a voucher valued at $100,000 which they can redeem from any of a list of vendors.

The ministry said it has no such incentive programme in place.

Teachers are being advised not to send any information to the fake email addresses listed in the letters.
