Education Ministry insists that no child should be barred from school because of dress code or grooming issues
With students set to return to school in a week and a half, Education Minister Fayval Williams is insisting that no child should be locked out of school because of dress code issues.
The issue has been a perennial problem, with students being denied access to classes due to hairstyle and incorrect uniform, among other things.
Speaking at the Jamaica Teachers Association Annual Conference in Trelawny, Mrs. Williams said school administrators should implement procedures to treat infractions.
