Dozens of school children and teachers impacted by PPV strike
Dozens of school children and teachers across several regions have been impacted by the withdrawal of service by transport operators.
They include students sitting Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination (CAPE) tests.
President of the Jamaica Teachers’ Association, Leighton Johnson, told IRIE FM News that several schools across the island saw their attendance impacted significantly.
Mr. Johnson noted that some students with external exams had to make alternative arrangements to get to their examination centres.
