Another pollution incident has been reported at the Rio Cobre, in St. Catherine.

The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA),  made the disclosure to IRIE FM news, this afternoon.

It said a team was deployed to the river to investigate what led to the discharge.

This latest incident follows another and a subsequent fish kill, at the river in the vicinity of Jericho, last month.

NEPA told IRIE FM news that that incident was due to elevated PH levels.
