Deandra Dottin climbs 36 places to 59 on ICC Women’s T/20 international batting rankings
Deandra Dottin’s extraordinary return to international cricket with West Indies Women has been rewarded with a massive 36 place climb on the ICC Women’s T/20 international batting rankings
It comes after she hit an unmatched tournament-high nine sixes in the just concluded ICC Women’s T\20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates while scoring 120 runs in five innings at an average of 40.
However, the Barbadian, despite her exploits, remains lower down the standings at number 59 due to her extended absence from the game.
Captain Hayley Mathews in the meantime remains the highest ranked West Indies batter at number 4 followed by Stafanie Taylor at 34.
Mathews also leads the way on the bowling rankings for the West Indies women at number 13, despite falling five places and he is one ahead of Afy Fletcher who moved up 4 spots.
Mathews, still occupies the top spot on the rankings for all-rounders.
