Date to be set for deportation of undocumented Cubans
A date is to be decided for the deportation of the ten undocumented Cubans, who were seen at a hotel in Trelawny last month.
Head of the Trelawny police, Deputy Superintendent Winston Milton says the Cubans went to court on Thursday.
He says a deportation order was obtained by the Passport, Immigration and Citizenship Agency (PICA) from the Ministry of National Security.
Reports are that on Saturday December 30, the Cuban men were seen at the hotel, and the police were alerted.
The Cubans were medically examined, then taken into police custody.
