Classes have been suspended at Pembroke Hall Primary School in Kingston, following the discovery of the body of the night watchman this morning.

The deceased has been identified as 62-year-old Owen Mardner, otherwise called “Chris” of Waltham Park Road Kingston 11.

Police reports are that Mardner was shot and killed between 10:30 last night and 6:50 this morning.

Reports are that a student discovered his body adjacent to his vehicle on the school’s compound.

An alarm was raised and the police were alerted.

Students who arrived at school were sent home.

Investigations continue.
