Classes going well at Ocho Rios Primary following health scare
Principal of the Ocho Rios Primary School in St Ann, Suzette Barnes-Wilson says classes have been going well since the health scare at the institution on Monday.
65 students were rushed to the St Ann’s Bay hospital after consuming drug infused sweets.
Only two of the students remain in hospital and were expected to be released on Thursday.
Speaking with Irie Fm News on Thursday morning, Mrs Barnes-Wilson said there has been co-operation from the school’s bus drivers and parents.
She said they have increased sensitisation at the school about what students should and should not purchase.
She said following on her promise to have students brought onto the school compound, the bus drivers have been co-operating.
