Classes at several schools in St. Elizabeth have been impacted due to a break-a-way along the main road which connects Siloah and Balaclava.
Among the schools impacted are Roger Clarke High, Magotty High, Sydney Pagon Stem Academy and Siloah Primary.
Principal at the Roger Clarke High School, George Lewis says more than 50% of students who travel from the direction of Siloah have been impacted.
He said he is worried about what will happen next week given the continued rains impacting the island.
The principal urged the authorities to address the situation swiftly.
